Maurice has been teaching my son and preparing him for Hebrew, and making incredible strides, from almost nothing to ready for 6th grade in about 4 months, 2x/week. He is also helping with math. I especially appreciate the way he engages with the kids in a way that forces them to learn how to learn, so they will be ready to work with the class; not stuck in a pattern of dependency. He also provides me with an overview of my child's accomplishments before leaving.

The most important thing Maurice has taught me is the importance of fluency in Hebrew. My pronunciation and speed have greatly improved in my year of working with Maurice. I've also learned a great number of words. Maurice knows his stuff, and he cares immensely about his scholarly tradition.
